Reflexite® Reflective Fluorescent Trim
Reflexite® sew-on tapes and reflective trims use the Reflexite® Corporation's patented cube-cornered prism which returns nearly all incoming light to its source. Coated by a tough, smooth outer surface, the prisms of Reflexite® materials are protected from abrasion, stain, impact and rainfall. The product resists dirt build-up, and can easily be wiped clean. It retains virtually all of its retro-reflective brilliance even under heavy rainfall conditions. Fluorescent colours are available for increased daytime visibility. Reflexite® Brilliance Series Reflective Trims exceed the minimum reflectivity requirements for CSA, ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 for level 2, Table 5, when tested at e=0° or e=90° in accordance with the procedures in section 7.1 Typical coefficients of retro-reflection are shown in the following tables.

3M Scotchlite™ Reflective Materials
3M Scotchlite™ retro-reflective materials reflect light back to the source at a level 300 times greater than white fabric. Highly resistant to cuts and punctures, they can be sewn anywhere on the surface without affecting brightness. This product resists dirt build-up and can easily be wiped down.

Retro-reflective Performance
The coefficient of retro-reflection (RA, in cd/lux/m2) is measured by methods traceable to either of the following retro-reflective intensity testing procedures:

ASTM E809 and E810 (RA)
CIE 54: 1982 (RA)

The RA values were measured at the listed specific entrance and observation angles. The RA values are averages of readings taken from orientation angles that are 90° apart unless stated differently. The 0° orientation angle is to be taken as downweb of 3M supplied rolls.
